It appears I'm the only beard here sick enough to play garage box.
So I will be making a Night Elf or Dwarf on Grobb on the live reset on Tuesday....if i play NElf I am pretty sure I will be Druid or Hunter...but I will play whatever you guys need that falls in the realms of playable classes for those 2 races. I play healer, dps on live but have never got into tanking for whatever reason
Did you all actually do it? I had a few asking me to play with ya'll but I couldn't stomach classic. BFA was such a let down that I hopped to FFXIV with my guild. Hope you all are having fun, though I suspect it's more akin to chewing glass.
I neckbearded like it was 2004 and had to force myself to stop playing after two months.
@Synnovea what FF14 server are you on? Haven't played it in a while but my wife and I both had characters on Jenova and Hyperion. Great PvE MMO.
Mateus - we have a guild of all 30 - 40 year olds lol. Well Free Company (I still prefer guild okthx <3) You're welcome to come check it out. Have a rather big discord and lots of funny old jackasses.
Don't hate, Red!
Just let the Moogles be great! Can't you let them be great?!
I'm hating on searyx for talking about pve when all he does is shit on pve non stop. I've never played FF14 so I cant hate on it pal.
lol was just kidding anyways. I like it, though. It's definitely a time suck. It's perhaps the most multi-layered game I've ever seen in terms of never running out of things to do. Plus the graphics are phenomenal.
That's my char this second, in crafting mode.
I'm not sure what that means but dope beret pal
Crafting mode or multi-layered games within games?
The game itself allows you to be all classes on one character - no more of mono-class savants that can only sling a spell but have no capacity for a blade. Instead, you can work to level all classes on one character or spread them out between several. The versatility/diversity is great. My char is what is called an 'omni-crafter', hence I've maxxed all crafting classes on that particular character.
As for the multi-layered game, if that is what you meant, it has elements of EQ/WoW mmo's, but also things like racing, gambling, sims house building, Minecraft etc. in it all rolled into one. I suspect you were asking about the former and not the ladder though. Anyways, I'll stop derailing this thread.
I was talking about crafting mode
I never run out of things to do in WoW because PvP is fun.
You liked the BFA model of pvp? I was disappointed. Started all going downhill, I thought, during Legion (I loved Legion as an xpac, though - probably my favorite of all of them between content and story).
idk where you got this idea that I hate PvE. I even said I was playing classic WoW mostly for the PvE. There are other games I'd play for PvP.
The main thing for me is that I'm mentally stimulated by whatever I'm doing, and the hard difficulty boss fights in FF14 were great for that. Best thing about them is you queue right into the boss. No time wasted mindlessly clearing trash.
I am blue underpants Braveheart guy on the left.
and yeah it does have an absurd amount of content in it. I spent a lot of time just playing the card game tournaments in the Gold Saucer and seeing how far I could get in Palace of the Dead solo.
LOL - he's fab. I actually am testing a theory / doing something for shits and giggles where I use the Grand Company alone to level fishing. My char is a level 71 fisher having NEVER caught a fish or cast a line. I say she's read a lot of fishing books but is too squeamish to touch a worm for the fun of it.
