My D4 boner is so large I almost have a young man boner.
Don't get too excited yet pal I still don't trust Blizzard after how shitty D3 was
but there werent any problems in sc2
red is a fearmonger
red is a WoW warrior mortal striking your balls in the middle of a kedge keep that blizzard forgot to copy
do not trust
Saturday is red appreciation day
I never played SC2 but I thought it had a really rough start and nerds were super mad at blizz on release
Erisu asking after muk logged where we stand on finding a guild. Talked about one that does world pvp, raids (though non mandatory) and will do some BGS. Not too big or too small. Maybe 30ish people online during primetime? I will say <Shanks> did alot of world pvp tonight and looked to be MC geared but if any others have suggestions....
I have held off on the Hurricane application while looking into some other guilds. Hurricane is still an option, but quite honestly I'm not very impressed with the PvP of their members. They tend to be the types that just beeline for the instance, even if there is fighting or people are getting ganked around them.
The PvE gap on this server is not that big. PUGs are taking down MC and Ony. The PvP gap is enormous. In the end, I'll go wherever people want, but I'd like to join a guild that has a good PvP attitude.
I'd like to hear other people's suggestions of any guilds they may want me to look into. So far the options are:
Hurricane (would be a good zerg guild, not the best pvp'ers)
No Mercy Mafia (anecdotally this is a very good pvp guild. But you guys hate the name so it's probably out).
Shanks (I just watched them win a bunch of fights where they were literally outnumbered 2 to 1 in some cases. But again, stupid name and they may not take us).
Obsidian Sun Company (Red mentioned them. They seem pretty decent but small).
Globally had a suggestion today but I forget the name. I'll have to look into it.
I think Hurricane is still the most likely option, but I thought I'd take a few days to check out other options before persuing it.
Also, a lot of guilds want to know everyone's tradeskills, so if you can let me know so I can write up a list of our members/tradeskills for any application.
Hammering Agrul's mother is my tradeskill
I'm still mining/skinning because I dont give a shit about being a try hard and grinding out engineering.
Engineering/mining. I don't mind Shanks as a guild name. No Mercy Mafia is dumb, though.
Atlas was the guild I pvped with, seemed like good dudes and they seemed interested in taking peeps though I didn't go into specifics
Plus side for them, they didn't hesitate to wipe a horde raid while prepping for ony, basically saw them grouping up and immediately started calling out targets on discord
I really like Tel Abim Banana Company. I grouped with a few of them a week and a half ago and had fun. Last night one of the group dropped a nice message inviting me to join them. We pvp'd outside of Ony for a while before doing Ony. They were fun for both parts and were adult/not obnoxious in discord. I don't know how good they are at pvp, but I don't really know how good I am yet either. But they like to pvp and they're cool.
Also, they don't have any sort of attendance requirements. Aonis asked me to join, so i floated the group idea and he was open to it
I'm already entertaining the idea of trying to play one night a week after the world pvp shit goes in, solely to pvp.
Probably still a bad idea tho so we'll see. The game becomes a lot less appealing when you only log in once a week and aren't habitually addicted to some progression grind.
Apparently Atlas is just a splinter group of The Enclave after all of the drama that went down.
If you dont keep up with server drama have a look
The Enclave are a bunch of racists trolls.
that guy (Enclave leader Horrigan) made my arcanite reaper and seemed cool when I talked to him
guess he got permanently banned a week ago and Enclave disbanded (then reformed as Loyalty and Liberty)
not quite up to EQ standards for guild drama but this is good shit
The Banana Company guild looks like a different version of our TZT group, so we are strongly considering them. I'm waiting to hear what you and Red think before talking to them about it.
Name is good and as long as they aren't whiny turbonerds im ok with it
Separate names with a comma.
