god damn even trynd is playin
Over in the Berenstein-Mandela universe, they're playing re-released brand name Everquest OG on 100% green energy.
Questing is particularly atrocious right now because everything takes 2-3x as long if you're trying it during prime time. When I log on during off-hours, I fly through quests.
I think the bulk of the server is probably in the 30-40's right now and places like STV are going to be super crowded. I'm in my mid-20's and questing in Ashenvale last night was easy, I saw maybe 1 other person doing the same quests. I wonder if Desolace would be a better spot in your 30's, but I haven't been there yet.
they may be reducing layering since they want to get rid of it by phase 2 which will shove more people onto the same layer
Some old screenshots from Southshore I forgot I had.
Someone needs to farm one of these for me thanks
I moved there this weekend, still pretty busy but doable
It's actually somewhat worse because a lot of the players are alliance so you can't kill them
I moved to STD After I ran gnomer/rfk. My leveling progress is definitely going to grind to a halt but i dont care because the pvp is hilarious and great entertainment.
I went back and forth with an orc warrior for a few hours ganking each other on mobs. I took a break and came back to continue the grind, as I was killing tigers the warrior finds me, helps me kill the tiger, I help him kill the mobs that is on him, we rest to full and duke it out 1v1.
This is the WoW that I miss.
Ok! I'm downloading the game and should be up and running by Wednesday evening. Its been an age since I've last WoW'd.... like before Blood Elves were playable. Back then the most popular toons were Warlocks & Rogues. What are the popular toons these days? I'm debating between playing a warlock or a cleric. Never played a warlock before but Clerics were easy for finding pick up groups.
Ok. Made a gnome warlock named Octobomb. Still might play a cleric. Not sure. Will game more wednesday night to see how I feel about the warlock.
I think this is very likely true. I also think it is very likely true that Ashenvale is one of the worst shithole zones in WoW, so I'm not surprised nobody is there.
I've been having a lot of fun PvPing lately. Like Mern, I'm not leveling very fast unless I can get on during the day. But one of the good qualities of WoW pvp is that level advantages are not completely insurmountable if you're in a group. I've been pvping a couple of times with Searyx who is 11 levels higher than me, and I provide *some* (not much) value, and he's been able to kill people that are skull con to him in the right circumstances. Even when people get high-end raiding gear, you can still fight them (not at level 36). We used to do it all the time on TN.
I *hate* questing in normal circumstances. In war zones it is fun.
100% accurate rogue video
I dunked on three nerds that were all lvl 35 and I was 38. A priest, mage, and warlock and I was never feared or poly. The amount of awful fucking players on horde is astounding.
It also helps when you sinister strike takes half of their health lololololol
was planning to play WoW vicariously through this thread
don't let me down guys
Pal just play on the weekend. We will power you through 20-30 in like a day and then u can start killing players instead of leveling.
Loote/Serif and their ladies are in guild now (idk how much they'll play here but it's cool either way) along with R99 Legend Gloinz.
Kanmuk you will like him. Dude is hilarious and wired exactly like you are for pvp.
I'm a level 20 priest after 5 days. No PLing. Just good old fashioned slaying. Prob gonna stop levelign at some point and focus on just pvp.
