I don't know if the dollar weakening is due to direct inflation, the expected interest rate is the usual driver of currency changes, where an expected low future rate results in a weakening of a currency and vice versa. Maybe the FED is expected to keep interest low for longer than other countries, I have no idea.
I don't know either I just rly enjoy JPow memes mostly (laughing until we're all carrying around wheelbarrows full of cash Zimbabwe-style)
Kanmuk these baby PAPER HANDS snowflake investors are scared by rising bond yields bc they don't have DIAMOND HANDS. In seriousness, my understanding is that rising bond yields == higher interest rates == harder to borrow money == slowed economic growth == bearish outlook on stocks.
So how does everyone feel about Forex Trading? I'm scared of trading currencies with margins. I have never traded on margin or short sold stocks. But it seems to me the USD is about to go up vs the EUR no matter how much money we print.
I have no hands-on experience with FX, but keep in mind that it's a very different beast from regular stock trading. We are currently in one of the longest lasting bull markets ever, so it's easy to get overconfident in your ability to pick winners when most stocks are winners. I saw this during the dotcom bubble, where many people quit their jobs to day trade, then lost half their life savings on the crash. FX on the other hand is a zero-sum game. If you haven't already, now is a good time to look up what that term means. Real currencies are not pretend-investment vehicles like crypto where everything can go up. 50% of the possible bets will always be bad. One idea would be to look for stock indexes / big companies who are set to gain on those currency movements instead. That way you can still get those sweet bull market gains (until the stimulus dries up and we might see another crash...).
I’m not really interested in currency or commodity trading. I have a prejudice passed on from people like Keynes and Buffett that it isn’t ‘real’ investing. It’s just gambling for economics nerds. It’s probably related to what Velox said about it being a zero sum game. One aspect of trading in stocks that makes it more attractive is compounding. Like compounding interest, successful businesses that plow their profits back into their company grow exponentially. It’s definitely not a zero sum game. You could give it a try, but I suspect you’d need an education in macroeconomics to be successful. I’m not eager to buy stocks any more because the stock market feels bubbly. I’ve either got to just be patient and sit on my hands or maybe dabble in the complicated world of bonds.
Did you guys know that if a particular stock doesn’t go up on a specific day it is because hedge funds are manipulating it with short attacks? I didn’t know that at all. I’m glad the GME saga has opened our eyes to things like this. Now I know why all the stocks I own don’t go up every single day. I was really struggling to understand how that could be.

i saw penis! I bet he kinda cute too. . piss isnt soo bad if its clear. But the yellower it gets, the nastier it tastes. One of my friend’s roommates in SF literally bottles hot guy’s piss and drinks it like its fine wine. Utterly disgusting. They have some in Their fridge. Gays who make 6figs in SF have the strangest kinks.
Yeah. what's the market like for bottled urine? Big enough to design an NFT coin to ensure that it was peed by the dude who said he was going to pee it? If TZT was ever going to design our own crypto, it would be to trace hot guy piss. Let's be real.
Time to start aging our piss in charred oak barrels. This is a great 10-year hold investment with risk roughly on par with Chainlink. It's the get rich scheme TZT was made for. We're gonna age our piss in mahogany casks and sell it to rich gay dudes in the bay area. Forget tech ETFs.
I've already contacted BadlandsChugs to partner with him once we release our product. There is some risk to him actually still being alive in 10 years, so please encourage him to chug healthier liquids until that time comes.
tbh no bc I never click on the rl pics thread, but I love how savage you are lately Kanmuk. Who was that TZT poster that looked like a male model? Rummol? He'll be the public face of the company.
