As much as I would love to see DTJr go down I can’t say I wouldn’t also love for cocaine to turn out to be an effective COVID treatment
So it’s win-win I guess

i genuinely don't understand how anyone would want to be a news anchor. it seems like an incredibly shitty job, saying the same thing over and over again, never really getting to the point, having smug conversations with various guests. holy fuck.
i feel like it is a lot more understandable if you're a journalist outside of the US, or aspire to be that; US interviews seem uniquely quarantined from genuine discussion
Omg media bashing.
yah but i didnt claim EIGHTY PERCENT OF JOURNALISTS WISH THEY WERE EUROPEAN
sounds like posting on tzt tbh
Looking like 3 weeks for the Pfizer/BioNtech approval. Fauci said the general public will be able to get vaccinated by April after the high-risk groups. If you vaccinate successfully the high-risk groups going into warmer months new hospitalization should plummett. It might take the Governors (Their Excellency) time to react. But I think we are setting up to have a good summer.
Might be a good time to start thinking about real estate investments in NYC or SF.
AZ vaccine "70 to 90% effective". Apparently they had two dose regimes and one was 62% and one was 90%, and averaged it was 70%. I wonder if the latter was really statistically significant. For the 90% figure, they didn't give any actual number of people who got it and didn't vs. control groups.
Not sure if this is a disappointment or a good thing. Big plus for AZ vaccine is that it's cheap and easily stored, but at 70% it might not be enough to make life go back to normal.
