It could be worse. https://www.reddit.com/r/Music/comments/kt38c9/breaking_iced_earth_guitarist_jon_schaffer_wanted/ I was a fan in the early 2000's, too (before Schaffer went insane & starting putting out patriotic concept albums nobody cared about). Unsurprisingly, a lot of the American metal bands trying to be TOUGH BADASSES seem to be fragile racist manbabies.
Im some like 40hrs in and that's in probably 20-25 sessions of game play and a solid 8hrs from few times where I forgot game was open and I tabbed out and left it. Like it draws me in, when I get home i want to jump on, on days off I cant wait to sit down but after a quest or two Im done. It doesnt keep my attention over an hour or two max. Definitely what reading here, the story is blah and theres not much continuity between main quests, side quests are meh. Ive mostly ignored the crafting so glad to hear its pretty unimpressive. the entire skill tree just seems random, and im like level 22 and im spending minutes just trying to find something to level up cause nothing seems interesting enough and there hasnt been any part of any quest guiding me to lean any way. fantastic concept that's very pretty but sorely lacking the content to back it up. The main story line is clearly a cool concept that would have, maybe was, a cool book but no effort was put into adapting it into a flowing gameplay quest line. I've not experienced any game ending bugs but more than dozen times ive had to reload last check point and start some question or chat line over cause it bugged out and wouldnt progress, the glitches with clipping and such are pretty none stop. Like what took so long for the game to come out? like its still got my attention and theres a lot there but its im far enough in that its getting to that point where its an obligation to continue more than a desire so yea, not surprised in least to read any of this and find out about the dropping player base.
too little too late imo and i still think there is too much weaseling about and not just a straight "management made really shitty decisions" w/fewer words would have been more effective
and still no ragrets, i enjoyed the shit out of the game. i expect i'll enjoy it even more in a year or so. i still think the ppl they really fucked are console players
This jumped out at me too. I was expecting maybe 2-3 months after release. at this rate GTA6 will be out by the time it's feature-complete on consoles
I post about it while working, so I'm actually getting paid more than CDPR pays their QA people to call their game shit
That's because the standard it set will make all vidya suffer. You and Tumshank Redemption are part of the problem.
