part of becoming a Nihi member is maxing out Erudin faction by killing a level one npc by the docks repeatedly for hours on end
Most guilds have a designated spot like that. Some high end guilds even have a mandatory bind so you never have an excuse not to be somewhere. Helps with organizing raids and stuff.
EQ is hardcore nowadays geez
Yeah, the P99 raid scene kind of sucks. I think it has more to do with the community than the game itself. People just like stacking teams.
My best garage box times were with PGP when it was me and 3 of my good pals + a random filler guy or 2. Slaying Dracoliche with a group while everyone else was using 3+ groups was awesome.
I think the main problem with continuing to play something like classic EQ in this day and age is that *EVERYONE* pretty much knows by now how everything works. The PvE has basically boiled down to an exact science that determines success and everyone has the spawn timers down where you're expected to be available at a specific time in order to meet the only goals people care to accomplish at this point, i.e. dropping raid mobs to get the best loot.
Also, the majority of the community just seems fucked in the head
15 year old game on a emu sever = :idiot2:
