For tanks Kamzan, Synipus, and Croazil were really awesome. Aspit was great but was more temperamental.

Croazil had a good sense of humor iirc. Is he the one who did the cheeky PDM website updates or am I thinking of someone else?

I mainly just play Rainbow Six Siege (ps4) these days and have been for about two years. It's one of the rare non-MMO games I've played that long. But after siege, shooters like CoD seem so arcade and non-tactical. I wish I had enough time for an MMO or even something like LoL, but having a 7 year old takes up a big chunk of time. (And is far cooler.) But in a few years, maybe she'll be ready to play Camelot Unchained with me (if it ever comes out).

As for EQ nostalgia, I kinda wonder what happened to the Heroes of the Avatar people. I know a couple moved to hollywood to make movies but unsure how that turned out.

I experience zero feelings of nostalgia for EQ because I still visit TZT and haven’t been allowed to escape it for 18 years.

Hi all, looks like I haven't popped in for a couple years. I'm still playing the occasional video game nowadays but noticeably less than I used to. I bought the kids a Nintendo Switch a couple months ago when we moved to Ontario. I've been playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with them fairly often and occasionally log an hour or two on Octopath Traveler.

On steam I'm slowly going through games I purchased during sales over the last several years. I schedule game nights with a few pals every few weeks. We recently played through Castle Crashers which was a ton of fun.

I've actually started spending most of my "game time" playing in-person D&D campaigns, especially now that I'm living in a new city and country. It is a great way to meet people and make new friends who immediately share some common interests.

I very recently (like past couple of weeks) started figuring out how to run a Fantasy Grounds campaign. Not cheap, but it takes a lot of the paperwork/tedium out of the D&D process, taking my kids through a starting campaign now.

    Nothing is fucked, man.

I've been playing D&D 5e and it's a lot less number crunchy now, I've been enjoying it enough to the point where I'm thinking about running my own table.

Is Fantasy Grounds that much better than Roll20?

Haven’t played 5e but have read through the classes. Think I’d prefer Pathfinder or 3e but def an improvement over 4e.
