So we'll still try
I don’t like to wave around having a medical degree as being a reason to absolutely trust everything I say. I went to medical school and internal medicine residency, but I’m not an expert on things like this pandemic, which is more of a public health/epidemiology issue. There are plenty of bad doctors out there, and I was wrong about the importance of wearing masks early in the pandemic. I’m involved with the patient treatment side of things, so I can weigh in on what we know from that standpoint. I wish we did have a reliable treatment that greatly reduced patients’ risk of being hospitalized or dying, but the closest thing we have right now is vaccination.
medicine braggart sanlaven is at it again
good lord ur so loud
Lol Lielaven just pushing his agenda with false facts
Dr. Lt. Col. Grandasaur Egg MD, PhD., Esq believes you should have no vaccines
"One of the last things they do before they're intubated is tell me masks kill more people than they save. I hold their hand and tell them if only we gave you zinc sooner, I'm sorry, but it's too late."
Can we start calling Anti-vaxxers as “Antiva”?
We really need to be able to laugh react posts with all these conservatives coming out of the woodwork.
The best part of this story is the doctor who looks like she’s laughing.
Sadly, I predict some tzters will be maimed or killed by the delta variant at this point.
More than 97% of people getting hospitalized with Covid-19 now are unvaccinated, Walensky said last week.
And 99.5% of deaths are among the unvaccinated, US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy said Sunday.
Getting people vaccinated as quickly as possible, Murthy said, "is our fastest, most effective way out of this pandemic."
If people don't want to do it, whatever. There's nothing I can say that will make a difference.
That's where we landed with my father-in-law (who is a ripe 80 years old and will probably die to this shit).
HCQ is used to treat autoimmune diseases and is anti inflammatory, ivermectin is anti inflammatory. vitamin d is anti inflammatory, quercetin is anti inflammatory..... and NAD is anti inflammatory and prevents oxidative stress, has decades of research and... was removed from Amazon as a nutritional supplement during the pandemic and disavowed by the FDA as being a patented drug while being sold OTC for 30 years. Cures and prevention that makes zero dollars. It's not that people aren't concerned with covid. I am actually concerned about covid but let's admit it, we're all going to get it - it's only a matter of if you get sick or not and how fast you recover and what methods you take to get there. The vax isn't stopping covid. That's been proven. What next?
So I was on the HCQ bandwagon at the beginning. I can see why educated people would think it would work. Much of the mechanism of replication of this coronavirus looked like HCQ would be a good match. There was a lot of reason to believe it would work. Until the doctors actually started to try. The doctors made some mistakes (UK group) but overall they made a good effort. The reason HCQ doesn't work, is two reasons. One this virus is too fast for HCQ. Second HCQ appears to trigger a biochemical pathway that helps the virus actually.
im not fond of these kinds of figures
if/once 99% of the country is vaccinated, this comparison will then switch directions (since 99% is > than vaccine efficacy, for any of the vaccines), and it will become the case that most hospitalizations/deaths due to COVID are among vaccinated people, simply because there will be many more vaccinated than unvaccinated ppl, and b/c many more vaccinated ppl are olds, w/ unvaccinated skewing young n' selfish
but dumb twitterati will parade that about as evidence of the vaccines 'not working'
supposedly the direction of this has already changed in israel, and ive seen some dumb tweets about it
