Kanter did kick the shit out if Steven Adams (which not many people do), so it's not like the missed Nurkic this game. Westbrook needs to not completely stall out the offence, though. 99 points against Portland's subpar D is not going to get it done.

I turned the Bucks game off in 8 minutes after Giannis just annihilated Detroit. After 5 minutes the Bucks had a 97% win probability. I'm really looking forward to seeing him take in Boston and Toronto.

I'm looking forward to seeing if any defense gets played in the Utah-Houston game + if the refs give Harden the same leeway with theatrical baby fouls that he gets in the regular season.

Also did anyone see the Celtics Pacers game? I just saw the final score and was convinced it must have been a halftime or 3rd quarter score. lol

Harden's career regular season free-throw rate (FTs per FGA) = .527
    Harden's career playoff free-throw rate = .498

Don't worry, we still get to hate him during the playoffs. I don't know who I'm more of an anti-fan of - Harden or Kyrie. Probably Kyrie, as Harden is so god-damned good you have to respect him. Kyrie, on the other hand, is just a pretty good player who thinks the Earth is flat.

Yes. It was almost as boring as watching hockey. That's obviously an exaggeration that I can't justify, but it was pretty terrible.

Pretty dumb of you @Kanmuk_Sealclubber to shut down that Bucks game so early. Ended up being a pretty close/riveting game. They barely beat the Pistons, 121 to 86 - that's what you get for predicting a blowout before all the facts are in.

Houston is up by 18 with just one trip to the charity stripe for Jamison Edward Harden Jr. That's a telling sign to me that Utah is indeed fucked in this series.

Yeah, once again Kanmuk gets my hopes way up. Rockets going to be beastly opponent for us imo.

    That was a fucking destruction.

I want to blame Donovan Mitchell, but their bench went 4-26. I haven't seen shooting that bad since Houston's game 7 atrocity last year.

To make myself feel better, I will watch these two Detroit Pistons try to stay the fuck out of the way of Giannis:

Expect a lot of Giannis highlight spam this postseason. Everyone will be converted by the end.

I mean, I'm already down with that. Giannis gets to be the black Dirk for me since I don't like or care about anything else from the eastern conference.

Love Barkley, and he's right about San Antonio. I love that city, but he's right. Their fans are mostly fatties chowing down on nachos instead of watching the game.

Clips gotta fill their one scrappy win quota before GS blows them out

Boogie is likely gone for the season (probably tore his quad) is the big issue for GS.

That's not a huge deal, since they steamrolled to the title without him last year. But it does take away a potential matchup counter to Milwaukee's team of swarming giants.

Are they even statistically better with him on the court?

Maybe it's a loss for that matchup specifically. Looney and Bogut should be serviceable.

I feel a little bit for ol Boogie. Pretty sure he's not getting that max contract now.

Kevin Durant needs to not get shut down by 6'1" guards (Beverley).

I'm using "shut down" liberally here since he still had an efficient outing, but he should be going off for 40 when the other team is putting a midget on him.

That's a good question. I doubt it, because mostly he takes away shots from guys that are better than him.

I think there is only so much you can make a team better in the aggregate when they already have 900 all-stars and you need the ball to be effective. What made Cousins unfair is his ability to make GS matchup-proof and the fact that he was injury insurance.

It's not as big a deal because Embiid and Giannis are both in the East, and Gobert will probably be slain by Harden. Still, though, without him I don't think they are 100% indestructible. Just like 94%.
