Yeah, I added and deleted them a bunch of times. Jokic will be next year’s Giannis (young star the media collectively falls in love with once they realize how good he is) but I don’t trust Jamal Murray. Canadian players suck shit at basketball, it seems.

“Thibodeau ends his tenure as Timberwolves coach with a 97-107 record. His win total is tied with Rick Adelman for the second-most in team history.”

That is a bad fucking franchise, Jesus Christ.

A team with Karl Towns on it should be a top-5 to 10 offence just by nature of his shooting ability at the position he plays. So Thibs deserves some flack for that. How you can have someone be that efficient from all over the floor, and then take possessions out of that persons hands, is beyond me. KAT should be putting up Embiid or Davis offensive numbers. They also have Covington, a resurgent Rose (who Thibs brought in to be fair) and Saric. They should be a 55-win team.

BUT, Wiggins is dogshit and drags them down. And Thibs probably had to play him because of his contract. So it’s not all on him.

The Dallas starting lineup sucks. I mean they are statistically awful and we've had a large enough sample size now to assume that the chemistry isn't going to work itself out.

Matthews/Barnes/Jordan need to go. Matthews is pure garbage (2-8 shooting, 3 turnovers, 2 rebounds/assists), Barnes can be a negative player even when he's shooting well, and I am over Jordan sitting there doing nothing for help defense while guys get easy dunks. I don't know why Carlisle is having him pass from the high post on offense (where he seems to turn the ball over about 50% of the time), but it's not working.

They need to get something in return for those guys while they can. Go after Otto Porter or whatever - get anyone who compliments Doncic/DSJ. I kinda hope they pull the trigger on something before the trade deadline.

Yeah I saw that last few minutes. Larden had another ankle-break highlight in the making to tie it up in the last 2 minutes, but he missed the open three after his defender fell down.

Doncic put up 30 against the mighty Phoenix Suns. It'd be nice if he had more help around him. Rick starting him in the backcourt and starting Kleber at the 4 is the most encouraging lineup change I've seen this season, so I really hope he sticks with that. It's so much better than putting Matthews in the frontcourt and playing Barnes at the 4.

tbh i have to hand it to harden for constitution.

that ball bounced off so hard that giannis got it back. pretty sure i'd be passed the fuck out if that hit me in the head lol

Is it safe to say that Giannis got into Harden's head?

I hope he makes it a signature move tbh. Why pass out of the low post when you can just handcannon the ball into the star player's head instead? Doesn't even count as a foul.

The floor slapping thing has to be the dumbest on-court taunt ever, right? Especially when you're Kelly Oubre Jr.

I feel like that follows the same rules as wearing a fuzzy top hat and goggles to a bar. That shit only works if you have the game to back it up.

Do you think someone like Jokic practices this shit a ton, or do they just have such a good feel for the basketball that they can lob it with pinpoint accuracy like a normal person can toss a golf ball within a 3 foot range?

Also, Spurs vs OKC, 154 to 147 is a thing that just happened.

    What in the actual fuck.

LaMarcus Aldridge with 56 points - talk about proving your doubters wrong. Amazingly, he's already the 9th player to score at last 50 in an NBA game this season, which is only half over. And though he didn't shoot a single 3, his team went 16-19 (84%) on three point attempts. They made 14 three pointers without missing until the third quarter.

Westbrook ended with another triple double of course, 24 points, 13 rebounds, 24 assists - another new record. Steven Adams was the only OKC starter not to make at least 20 points (fuckin scrub just did 19).
