Liquid Christmas - Vodka based liquer

1lb fresh cranberries
1 c. sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 oranges (peels only. use a vegetable peeler)
1 lemon (zest and juice)
1 - 750ml bottle of vodka (don't get fancy but don't buy cheap crap. Just make sure you would drink it normally).
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves

In a medium sauce pan cook the cranberries, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, spices and vanilla until the berries burst; 5-6min.
Place orange peels in the bottom of an air tight container. Allow the berry mix to cool and pour it into the container over the orange peels. Add the entire bottle of vodka. Seal the container and store in the refrigerator for 1 week. Strain the vodka and pour into clean bottles. (I usually keep the vodka bottle and pour it back in to that)

Makes a great gift in any size bottle.

Irony punctuation is any proposed form of notation used to denote irony or sarcasm in text. Written English lacks a standard way to mark irony, and several forms of punctuation have been proposed. Among the oldest and most frequently attested are the percontation point proposed by English printer Henry Denham in the 1580s, and the irony mark, used by Marcellin Jobard and French poet Alcanter de Brahm during the 19th century. Both marks take the form of a reversed question mark, "⸮".
