It was a one time upload, I should probably upload w/latest build.

@Yogr could you send me your github info (assuming it's hosted somewhere public?) If not, I guess you could just send me the files or upload to google drive again if you want me to manually update files.

    awww yeeuuuhhh.

i don't think github & unity files play super nice together, and im rolling solo, so I haven't done any git'ing with it yet.

When I buy Unity Pro they have a cloud share thing but im just gonna use that between my PC and macbook.

I'll let you know when I have a new build ready to go. Gonna get an .apk out within a few weeks for Android peeps to test on their Android devices as well.

    Thx 'tumno

Wow you don't do some sort of git variant as version control?

No VC right now. Lol. I don't even make back-ups. legit could lose everything if I don't get on this Unity cloud, or other service.

Chemosh's endless shilling aside - you could/should use Amazon Codecommit at least. It's p easy to set up and use I dinked with it a bit a while back.

Yeah I mean the code is one thing. That I could easily throw on git or codecommit or something.

It's all the other stuff, art assets, unity scenes, animation files, all that crap that comes with the game project that I don't think play well with git / codecommit.

Unity cloud hosts your whole game project.

o i c. yeah i'm no developer so i don't know how Such Things are Typically Done... though I suspect it's something like Artifactory (which I've seen used a lot in past couple of gigs).

Lol. Just don't hit spacebar, you don't need to jump up that platform at the end.

I must've half-programmed the jump function by mistake. I decided against jump for v1 so I need to remove that

Haha. Ok you sons of bitches.
I'll put jump in eventually. But its at the bottom of my backlog. Jump is a pain in the ass to code in 2.5d because I'm faking the Z axis. So, jumping and walking up both go on the Y. And it requires additional sprite artwork.

spent about 3 hours adding coin drops. I just HAD to have them explode from the enemies, have shadows, bounciness, a little pickup/fade animation, etc.

I originally rolled with Unity's Rigidbody2D component to handle gravity and force vectors, but 30 coins on screen at once legit sent my PC back to 1992. Something about their gravity / force calculations does not play friendly with many small objects.

So. had to scrap it and build my own, I was pooping out hundreds of coins with the same visual effect (rate of gravity, velocity, bounciness, etc) with just some simple math I hacked together.

and this is why I will never finish the game. 3 hours for some sweet bouncy coin drops.
