So I'm gonna try and go for the idea suggested in my bachelor party ideas thread and try to rent out a theater for playing vijya

I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to get more than four players on one screen at one time for any games worth playing. I know you can LAN together gamecubes to play 8 player mario kart, but I think that requires two TVs, and I'm not sure how to make that all happen on one theater screen.

Anyone have any ideas how this might work? Even if it requires two consoles and a computer to integrate them, or whatever cockamamy set-up

Smash for Wii U can have 8 players. Console and game are probably fairly cheap by now.

Kart for Gamecube can be emulated on a PC (https://dolphin-emu.org/) and support multiple instances on one screen. I guess the Wii one works too:

probably need a good CPU (i7) for that many screens.

Super Bomberman R (Switch, PC, PS4, etc) supports 8 natively. I'm sure there are some Worms series games that do, and those are always a blast to play.

Yeah, when my friends get together, it is always super Bomberman, MarioKart and Worms. Sear for president.

Weird, I don't think I've ever even heard of Worms, but yeah MarioKart and Bomberman are the jam.

    Thanks for the links, Sear
