how is this movie so boring + bad despite having both olivia wilde & anna kendrick in it
anything with Olivia Wilde on screen can't be too terrible
that movie does look like generic dog shit tho
you'll have to wash the bad taste out of ur mouth with some Big Bang Theory
i dont understand why you guys harp so much on me liking bbt
i never said it was well written or an objectively good show
i just said i enjoy it
ya'll pretty pretentious yo
Big Bang is funny. It's not all funny, and you could easily dismiss a large portion of it, but it makes me laugh out loud a couple times each episode, which is about 2 more times than other comedies.
its jokes are all low hanging fruit
but if u cant enjoy easy jokes that's on u
i also enjoyed last man standing b4 it was unceremoniously canceled. i am tempted to join the petitions to get it reinstated
I'll be straight up and say that if I go back and watch an episode of Family Matters I am gonna laugh at some of that shit and generally enjoy it, and I can't point to anything about that writing that is clearly any better than BBT. It's mostly just because of nostalgia BUT MAYBE THAT'S SPLITTING HAIRS
In summary I forgive you for your horrible, horrible taste, Agrul
i dont think its splitting hairs
i have no independent emotional investment in BBT
i just laugh at jokes that searyx or u could have written
Have you ever watched some of big bang theory with the laugh track edited out? Do you find these as enjoyable?
i havent tried but that would be a neat experiment
i have mixed feelings on laugh tracks. i find them really jarring if i actively think about them
but if im just vegging out they dont bother me
The problem with a lot of clips with the laugh track edited out, is that they pick genuinely not funny moments in the series. I've watched a lot, and they aren't funny because it's not funny content. It is still amusing, though.
I haven't watched it in a few years. It seemed like it was going bad and starting to just be a caricature of its former self. The first few seasons were pretty funny. Overall, I liked How I Met Your Mother better, but you have to watch a good half season or so of that before it gets funny or you just won't know why Marshall and Lilly eating a sandwich and giggling is funny.
Of course, my wife and I are going through Smallville, so we really can't say anything about "well written", "well acted", "well directed" or "well produced" these days.
