    love your avatar Kanmuk, haha

yeah, Dallas lost (won) Tankbowl and it wasn't even close

Memphis doesn't even try to hide the tank effort. Gasol rests while they field a D-League starting lineup. They're not fucking around when it comes to losing to get that top pick.

Suddenly the Chandler Parsons max contract makes sense. They were just playing the long game with tanking.

I'm not thrilled about current list of injuries for the Warriors (and losing the 1st seed), but I have to say... Celtics got it worse so far

Dude has some hardcore acne in that photo.

Harrison Barnes has decided to finally be good now that the season is over and you need a top 6 pick.

    I hate him

everyone except Dirk, Slick Rick (aka "Robot"), and Tank Commander Dennis Smith Jr is in the doghouse

I'm expecting a #5-8 pick. I think Memphis is locking up that top spot. Decent chance that we could get #3-5, but more likely 6th or 7th just based on the standings and remaining schedules.

Harrison Barnes was a solid 77th out of 90 among small forwards in RPM (at -2.58) and had a stellar on/off rate of -14.1 for Dallas this year. You could make the argument, when you factor in his contract, that he was the least valuable player in the NBA. Now that he has decided to try to prove he is good against a bunch of tanking trash and prevent a higher draft pick, he is almost certainly the least valuable.

I want to see Dallas with Ayton, Doncic or Bagley. I want to see one of those guys with Carlsisle to develop them. So I need them to get a top 3 pick. Top 7 is fine though. It's a loaded fucking draft.

I'm fully on board the Ayton hype train, because 19 year olds that look like they are 50 are good at basketball:

That is what Kevin Durant's dad should look like.

Dallas is inexplicably playing well now, so we might have to settle for #6-7 (maybe even #8 if Chicago or New York brings their tanking game down the home stretch).

If you want to tank, spending 1/3rd your cap on a negative impact player is STELLAR. It shows how good Carlisle is that Sir Dirkensian + a bunch of temp contract guys can somehow overcome the nightly -5 point hole Barnes and Smith put them in to somehow be not the worst team in the league.

Carlisle 4 Chancellor. But he should probably go deal with "personal issues" for a few months.

Greg Oden was rly good, he just had old man knees by the time he was 22. That's the risk you take when you draft someone that went through puberty at 4.

Derrick Rose's son has them all beat, though. He already looks 50. He is for sure going to the NBA in 14 years:

That Dallas theory really isn't too far-fetched, considering Cuban admitted he's keen on using analytics for tanking.

It'd also explain why we're keeping Barea (a player who can be either effective or absolutely horrible depending on the lineup he's placed in) and Matthews around, along with playing a rookie Smith Jr. heavy starting minutes (which is not at all typical of Carlisle).

I feel like that might be giving their FO too much credit, though. I've also wondered if their recent winning play has been due to Cuban being an idiot and putting himself in the public hot seat for the tanking comments and sexual harassment PR. Maybe they're trying to offset that to avoid the ire of the NBA, who just warned teams about tanking (Memphis in specific)? Maybe the players and/or Carlisle are pissed and just playing more competitively? I dunno.
