90% of what I do is micromanaging things that other people are qualified to do and should be doing anyway. If I didn't come to work I don't think it would matter most of the time. My job is basically a Dilbert strip.

General Discussion / Getting spam email from people you know

Maybe 4 weeks ago I randomly get an email from my cousin, I check it and it's just a link with one of those "omg make 100000 a day working from home!!!" ads. Very weird. I check his email to make sure it's not just something that looks like it, it's not, it's the exact same thing. This only happens once, not like it got taken over and used to spam. I don't ask him about it, just write it off as some weirdness and ignore it. Just now I got an email from my bosses account that contained only a link to some weight-loss pill thing.

Anyone else noticing weirdness like this? Are they getting hacked by malware to send one-off ad spam to everyone in their contacts maybe? Haven't really seen anything like this before.

I hardly ever get sick but I got hit hard this year, ended up missing a day of work and was sick for basically a week and a half with coughing, muscle soreness, headaches, chills. I must have missed the stomach virus thing that's accompanying the flu because I didn't get sick in that way.

This looks kind of interesting, but also seems to have instancing and other things I don't like, and pvp seems segregated somewhat. Anyone thinking of trying it? I'd like to play an MMO but nothing has seemed compelling, I really like Elder Scrolls games though, so maybe this?
