God i hate hollywood economics. I wish all movie theaters would go out of business so the movie industry can catch up with technology and culture.

I bet they will be close to the same price once you factor in the motion controllers and maybe an extra tracking sensor.

I'm downloading the Apollo 11 Experience. apparently this shit made some people cry. ohh the feels!

There are free demo's that basically make recreate that old 80s movie Innerspace. it takes you through the entire body and explains all of the cells and the biological functions of everything. Its super cool, and i was learning stuff, but i ended it short because i wanted to fucking kill shit.

So further into Chronos. Shit is like Dark Souls i'm realizing. There is only 1 heal "potion" thing per death (it recharges upon death) so the whole trick is to become really really fucking good at shield blocking and dodging stuff. As soon as i master the attack patterns of one type of foe, a new one shows up and causes me to age drastically. It really scares me that i am putting on years. And the storyline kind of says that you only get one shot to travel to this parallel universe per year, and you must defeat this dragon, or die trying.
It starts out in a post apocalyptic kind of reality and you travel to a beauuuutifuckinful ancient land that is in need of some dragon slayin'.
As you age, every decade, you get to choose a "talent" kind of thing, like you gain more experience per kill, or hit harder, or have more life, just a decision you have to make. its like, man i want to fuckin slay this shit hard, but if i go the boring more exp route maybe i will be tougher in my old age because i get more skill points on the journey there..?
Its intense though.

So far the only game that has made me nauseous is Adrift. But its almost worth it. Its such an insane feeling that i dont think the human brain can experience that level of immersion without getting motion sickness.

Also, Herobound doesnt work for me for some reason. Also, the desktop/3rd party game thing program called Torpx doesnt work for me. So i cant EQ in 3D for some reason. Fuck.

Okay, Played Chronos for a few hours.

It is badass. Kind of a Zelda like feel to it. You age a year every time you die. As you kill things and level up you gain strength and stamina in the younger years and as you get older you shift more toward gaining wisdom. So i assume you go from a melee role  in your young fit years to more of a spell caster in your later years.

Just played Adrift.

Wow. Its set in a wrecked space station and you float around looking for oxygen tubes to keep going. It is fucking insane feeling. you control yourself with an xbox controller but you look around with the oculus. its kind of like what i assume its like for astronauts, being able to look around inside your helmet and view a heads up display on it. Its almost nauseating for me. By far one of the most intense video game experiences i have evr had (outside of fighting for my life to not lose my bronze bracer back in the early days of EQ lol)

Also Vive and oculus have about the same resolution. i think the PS4 one is supposed to be lower, which i cant imagine being a good idea.

Wife will rip the oculus off her face when the T-Rex comes around the corner in one of the demo videos. she will now no longer put it on because it scares her so bad.

So far i've only played Defense Grid 2. which is a tower defense game. Its cool. Pretty fun to play but i love tower defense games.

I will say that the view is pretty blurry. its sharpness just isn't what your used to. I would think they need to double the resolution to get this thing really mainstream. otherwise its like playing nintendo DS games.

Kind of off topic here...

Has anyone truly proved that a warmer environment (not one polluted to all hell, but one naturally warmer) is harmful to life? I understand arctic species may not fare so well, but there are analogies to those types of animals in warmer weather places as well, so not such a big deal.

plants will grow better, more moisture in the air, more oxygen so we can grow to larger sizes (evolutionary guess), more fresh water falling over land from the sky. shit i dont know, y'all shoot holes in this post if you want.

I'm going to stand by my stance that a majority of hollywood is white.

how would a majority white social club have black prom queen/king every year?

It wouldnt. if black movies
(movies aimed at predominantly black audiences)
were profitable, then they would be much more prevalent.
they're not.
so.. issue solved.
why make more mediums and topics racial than we already have?

Ozone generators are quite interesting actually. If you ever buy a car that someone smoked a shit ton of cigs in just throw the generator in there for an hour and its like perfectly new smelling again. You can also use them in lieu of chemicals to keep pools clean, or hot tubs.

When you turn them on and before you vacate the area, it smells like a thunderstorm, really bizarre. I think the only really bad thing is that they will destroy vinyl and some other materials after repeated use. also, i forget what causes it exactly, but it can form hydrochloric acid or something, when it is breaking down into oxygen again, although in incredibly small amounts.

This presidential race is hilarious.
how do people pick someone to vote for?

Y'all remember in Contact, starring jodie foster, they casted a white male to portray an alien race that had read her thoughts and decided that this white male form might be able to communicate with her the most effectively.

Probably the same thing is true for Oscar Judges.

She actually bitched that she paid nothing for health care and only paid 20$ to see docs or get pills.

she bitched that the free "flavored" coconut waters are disgusting.

she bitched that they were not allowed to take the free food home.

They either go to public school or they dont get christmas presents.

This isn't out of the ordinary, even in relatively wealthy cities. Poor people tend to have more children, and each child you have increases the likelihood your children would be on that. Plus, has she looked up what the requirements are for that? It might not be as dirt poor as you'd think.

I'm sure its not too horrible but we do live in an incredibly poor rural town with not many jobs other than in the few plants like ACME brick, or Caterpillar. or Dairy Queen.
